Cannexion was a part of the mission organized by the Canadian embassy in Costa Rica, where we had
the opportunity to meet with the representatives of regional governments from each of the countries, as
well as the private sector, universities and associations. During the meetings, Cannexion was able to
promote the products and services of the companies we work with.
 

• A Free Trade Agreement between Canada and Costa Rica was signed in 2002. The agreement
  granted Canadian exporters duty-free treatment for 94% of its agriculture and agri-food products.
  Canadian agri-food exports have benefited the most from this agreement, raising 12.5 times the levels
  of 2002.

• A Free Trade Agreement between Canada and Honduras came into force on October 1st
  2014. The agreement granted immediate access to 68% to Canadian products with duty-free
  treatment. The rest of the HS codes will be reduced to 0% in a period of 5 to 15 years.
