2016 - Seminar about “strategy to access the Canadian market for produce and agri-food products”. Representatives from the Pacific Alliance Trade Support Institutions. Provided for the Trade Facilitation Office, TFO. Ottawa, Canada.

As part of the project: Improving Market Access and Export Readiness for Pacific Alliance Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises managed by TFO-Canada, Cannexion conducted a seminar on How to prepare for export to the Canadian market. During the training activity, the members of the delegation PROCOLOMBIA, PROMPERU, PROMEXICO and PROCHILE, were trained on:

  • Business culture and local expectations

  • Negotiation strategies

  • Tips on doing business with Canadians

  • Keys to doing business with Canada

  • Market access issues and challenges

  • Recommendations relating to costs and negotiations

  • Recommendations related to the presentation of the product

  • Recommendations related to the quality of the product

  • Commercial Dispute Resolution.  Mediation and arbitration, harmonized standards, procedures and risk management
